Introductory session on societal engineering at BMSCE
An interactive session on “EWB & Societal Engineering” was held at Department of Information Science, BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bengaluru on 11-06-2016. BMSCE is ranked among top 5 private engineering institutions in the country. Thirty students and two faculty members attended the event.
Mr. A Manjunath made a multimedia presentation on ‘EWB & Societal Engineering’. A brief on activities of EWB Bangalore’s current and future activities and how the student community could be beneficial to the society were discussed. It was followed by an interactive session on activities of EWB-B and the role of engineering students.
Professional members of EWB-B Mr. C Balakumar, Mr. Nagesha B K, Mr. Vinay Sharma and Mr. Abhishek ojha had attend the event and responded to the queries of the students. Prof. Rajeshwari and Prof. Preetha had co-ordinated and made necessary arrangements for the event.
