EWB-B MEDICAL CAMP REPORT
Engineers Without Borders (EWB)-Bengaluru Professional Chapter organized a medical camp on 16-07-2016 at Chitrakoota Educational Institutions, Thippagondanahalli, Bangalore-South.
The total strength of Institute was 560 members along with 40 members of teaching and supporting staff. The students of the village belong to various villages spread across Bangalore, Ramanagara and Tumkur Districts.
EWB-B Professional chapter visited this Institute and found the requirement and necessities of conducting the medical camp and scheduled the date on 16thjuly’16.
The EWB-B team of Mr.A.Manjunath, Mr. BK. Nagesh, Mr. RaghunathBabu, Mr. L. vinay, Mr. RageshBabu and Mr. DilliBabu were the organizers of the event.
It was supported by students of EWB-SaIT, SVIE and CEI.
Dr.Prem , Dr. Megha, Dr.A. Maheshwari, Dr. Roopa. Dr. Manju, Dr. Shrihari, Dr. Devaprashanth, and Dr.Anand from Victoria and MS.Ramaiah hospitals-Bangalore rendered their wonderful service.

Medical camp was inaugurated by a group of Doctors and EWB members at 10am.
Team of doctors served 560 students. Also medical examination was extended to teaching staff of CEI and student members of EWB chapters.
The doctors also shared their views about healthy life and the role of health on education. They explained about the hygienic habits every individual must follow to keep way the diseases like dengue & malaria.

Medicines worth Rs.20,000 were distributed by EWB-B chapter to all the students based on the prescription given by the doctor.
A healthy country has a requirement of Healthy students stated the Chairman of Chitrakoota Educational Institutions Mr. KrishnanandChandavarkar while addressing the students & teaching staff of CEI.
EWB-B honored the doctors with memento and certificate of Appreciation.Student volunteers were presented with Appreciation Certificates.
